She was born premature, an entire month to be exact. It might have been due to the fact her junkie mother hadn't stayed clean the entire time she was pregnant. Lacy was lucky to scrape by without any deformities or mental problems. Well, any problems from being in her mother's womb anyway. She had plenty of other problems but they wouldn't start for a few years.

She was given up for adoption as soon as she'd taken her first breath, but it wasn't hard to find a willing family. Luckily, (or unluckily if you ask Lacy) she was adopted by a rather wealthy couple. The young woman who had convinced her husband to adopt was a well known up and coming young actress, Julie Grey. They did it in secret of course, and when they showed up on the tabloids with a new baby girl, the world seemed to understand why Julie had been reclusive as of late.

Her life started out well enough. Having a famous mother had it's perks after all. It also had it's downside. She hardly ever saw her mother, she was always too busy on set. She had a nanny that took care of her and taught her the things every little girl should know, according to her mother. She had to be on her best behavior at all times. Her father, an attractive man who had simply been married to Julie and had no fame of his own liked to spend his time with the little girl but even he had his work. It was never boring for Lacy however.

She was given anything she wanted, except for her parents. When she was 10, she co-starred with her mother in a movie and hated it. Although she seemed cute enough, and did well on the screen she never wanted to do it again. It was hard, and people were so fake. It was slightly confusing for the little girl, and left a bad taste in her mouth. As she grew older, she finally began to full understand what it was her mother did. When she was in middle school she put up with taunts from her male classmates that had seen her mother in movies, several of which she'd been half naked if not all.

It wasn't until high school she started to act up. She was sick of spending her time around people who only wanted her because of who her mother was, or people who wanted to learn about her mother. It was annoying. She started ditching class, spending most of her time at the museum, or any place she could where no one knew who she was. Eventually, her parents got sick of her "problems". When she ended up on the cover of a trashy tabloid for crashing a 21 and over club when she was only 17, they decided to send her to a boarding school.

Though if they had known what the school was really like, she doubted they'd have sent her here. In an attempt to keep herself safe, she stays on the straight and narrow and doesn't speak up much. She's the quiet kid in the back of your class with a nose in her book, head down. Seeming like she's stuck up is her defense mechanism, and she's sticking to it.
